Yui Aida @Taiwanfest #1
A few month ago, Charlie Wu of Taiwanfest called me. He was a bit more exciting than usual: “Iris, can you imagine what an avocado soy cake with balsamic vinegar sauce tastes like? Anyway, I really need your expertise to work with the food painter and lead the project, what do you say?”
Food painter? What is that?
Curiosity kills the cat. And Charlie knew I just could not resist a new and unusual challenge.
So after a long absence of volunteering for Taiwanfest, I found myself back with the team, some familiar old faces, some bright young faces, all full of energy and smiles.
First thing first. I went to Yui’s website. And something caught my eyes! How could she do it? How did she make it happen?
What is it? You asked.
Oh, I have to hold the surprise, just for a few days. But, in the meantime, let me tease you with the taste of sweet rocks.
